Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Tower Crane Operator (Provisional "A" Ticket Certification, not a Level A erector) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of cranes to lift, move, and position materials in various construction or industrial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical operations, safety protocols, and effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and ensure efficient project execution.

Duties
Operate Tower/Luffing cranes to lift and transport materials safely.
Conduct pre-operational checks on cranes and equipment to ensure they are in safe working condition.
Communicate effectively with ground crew members to coordinate lifting operations and ensure safety protocols are followed.
Maintain accurate logs of operations, including load weights and equipment inspections.
Adhere to all WorkSafeBC safety regulations and company policies while operating machinery.
Assist with the maintenance and repairs of crane equipment as needed.

Experience
Proven experience as a Tower Crane Operator.
Strong mechanical knowledge related to crane operation and maintenance.
Ability to communicate effectively in English.
Familiarity and a full understanding of rigging techniques and safety standards in lifting operations.
Commitment to continuous learning and improvement in crane operation skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $40.00-$44.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
