We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager specializing in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP implementation to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of overseeing full-cycle ERP implementations from initiation to go-live, as well as extensive experience in end-to-end vendor management, including Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposal (RFP) processes. This role requires strong leadership, technical proficiency, and excellent communication skills to coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. ERP Implementation Leadership:
  • Manage the entire lifecycle of Business Central ERP projects, including planning, design, development, testing, training, deployment, and post-implementation support.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to define project goals, requirements, and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and risk mitigation strategies to ensure successful implementation.
  1. Vendor Management:
  • Lead full-cycle vendor evaluation processes, including the development of RFI and RFP documentation.
  • Facilitate vendor selection by coordinating demos, evaluating proposals, and negotiating contracts.
  • Maintain strong relationships with solution providers, ensuring deliverables meet quality, scope, and performance criteria.
  1. Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, including executives, IT leads, and end-users, to align goals and expectations.
  • Actively manage stakeholder communication and provide regular updates on project status, risks, and milestones.
  1. Team Coordination & Change Management:
  • Direct cross-functional teams, including IT specialists, business analysts, developers, and third-party vendors, to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Introduce change management best practices to facilitate user adoption and minimize organizational disruption.
  1. Process Optimization:
  • Identify opportunities to optimize business processes during the implementation of Business Central ERP, ensuring alignment with business needs.
  • Lead post-implementation reviews to identify lessons learned and areas for continuous improvement.
  1. Budget and Resource Management:
  • Oversee project budgets, ensuring efficient allocation and utilization of resources to maximize return on investment.
  • Conduct regular project health checks to monitor adherence to financial and timeline constraints.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Project Management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) preferred.
  • Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager, with at least 3 years focusing on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar ERP implementation.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage full-cycle ERP projects, including RFI and RFP processes.
  • Experience in vendor management, including contract negotiation and performance monitoring.
  • Proven expertise in leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple stakeholders.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong understanding of Business Central ERP functionality, configurations, and integrations.
  • Familiarity with data migration, system testing, and user training within ERP systems.
  • Proficiency in project management tools like Microsoft Project, Jira, or similar platforms.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with technical teams and business users.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
