Role Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join our team, reporting directly to the IS.E Production Manager. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the assembly, testing, calibration and improvements of our cutting-edge Flow sensors. This role involves working closely with the Senior Electronics Developer on new prototypes, assisting the Production Manager with instrument assembly and calibration, and ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality and efficiency in our production environment. There will be multiple opportunities for career growth as the company grows.

Key Responsibilities:

Facility Setup: Help Production Manager and Senior Electronics Developer setup workspace including computer stations, work benches, toolboxes, mechanical and electronic assembly stations, and instrument calibration equipment.

Assembly and Testing: Assist in the electrical assembly of Flow sensors, ensuring all components meet design specifications. Perform thorough testing to validate performance and reliability.

Troubleshooting: Work with IS.E Team collaboratively to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.

Prototyping Support: Collaborate with the Senior Electronics Developer and Production Manager in the development and refinement of new prototypes. Contribute ideas and feedback to improve product design and functionality.

Calibration: Assist the Production Manager in calibrating instruments to ensure accuracy and precision in sensor performance.

Product Manual Development: Work with IS.E team to develop comprehensive technical documentation for both customers, and Safety Authority approvals.

Supply Chain Management Support: Support the Production Manager in streamlining the supply chain.

Safety and Maintenance: Uphold a safe working environment by following established safety protocols. Maintain and organize tools and equipment and report any maintenance needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Education: Diploma in Electronics Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology or a related field. Equivalent experience in electronics or mechanical aptitude may be considered.

Experience: Experience with electromechanical assembly and testing is highly desirable.

Technical Skills: Understanding the basics of electronic components, circuitry, and testing procedures. Understanding of the basics of manufacturing technologies and best shop practices.

Soft Skills: Excellent attention to detail, strong spatial awareness, integrity, reliability, self-motivation, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential.

Work Environment:

Locations:

The role may involve temporary work at other facilities such as collage, university labs or third-party facilities for technical development. Primarily work will be conducted at the ISE production facility for electromechanical assembly and calibration tasks.

Interactions:

Regular interaction with the Founders, Production Manager, Senior Electronics Developer, vendors, and customers. Collaborative work with other team members and departments is expected.
