INTERMEDIATE NETWORK SERVICES - NOC Analyst

Our Calgary based client is seeking an Intermediate Network Services Specialist/NOC Analyst to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience managing complex, multi-tenant infrastructure tools, on-premise and cloud-connected technologies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitoring, event and incident management tools like SolarWinds - Orion, as well as address the incident lifecycle through the use of Service Now
• Respond to incidents such as infrastructure, network or SQL problems
• Manage server backups and maintenance plans
• Complete approved changes of IT infrastructure within change windows, such as patching
• Perform physical infrastructure checks regularly and remediate any issues
• Complete quarterly vulnerability scans and remediate identified issues

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2+ years of professional experience
• NOC knowledge
• Knowledge of Security and be willing to take a certification ASAP after starting
• ITIL process experience - ideally in a call center or NOC

must be willing to work rotational shifts that include overnights, daytime, evenings and weekends and on a varying schedule

Contract to run until the end of the year

Hourly Rate: $28-$30/hour for an Incorporated consultant

100% in office
