We are seeking a skilled architectural drafter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in CAD drafting and structural residential design. This role is essential in supporting our engineering, architectural design and CNC interfacing.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D models for projects utilizing CADWORK software
• Develop detailed 2D architectural drawings and plans
• Produce detailed shop schematics and timber joinery for engineering
• Create support documents to interface the design to CNC software
• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to refine designs as the project requires
• Review and revise drawings based on feedback from project stakeholders
• maintain organized records of all drafts, revisions, RFI, and final documentation

Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD is required, experience with BIM, Revit, MicroStation, Sketchup is desirable
• Strong understanding of structural building components, roof design, building codes, drafting principles and industry standards
• Ability to create accurate technical drawings efficiently
• Attention to detail with strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing individual tasks effectively
• This is exclusively an in-house position in Stony Plain, Ab. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the design and shop teams daily
