Responsibilities:
- Administer HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, and employee relations.
- Support the implementation and communication of company policies and procedures.
- Assist in developing and maintaining employee training and development programs.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and industry regulations.
- Manage employee performance and provide guidance on conflict resolution.
- Maintain accurate HR records and generate reports for management.
- Collaborate with leadership to foster a positive work environment and engage employees.
- Assist with compensation and benefits administration, ensuring competitive and equitable pay structures.
Skills and Experience:
- HR Expertise: Proven experience in human resources, ideally in the construction or related industry.
- Leadership: Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage sensitive employee relations matters.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey policies, expectations, and solutions.
- Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of experience as an HR Generalist, with experience in a high-growth or construction-focused company.
- Education: Post-secondary degree or diploma in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
