We are a commercial interior construction company based in the GTA, specializing in high-end commercial renovation projects in the downtown core. We are seeking a Proposal Coordinator / Writer who is creative, organized, has strong communication skills, and is a team player. Are you a marketing professional who gets excited by writing proposals that win bids? Are you detail oriented? Whether or not you come from a construction, architectural, design, or engineering background, if you can design and create powerful proposals, we want to hear from you!

What you will work on:

  • Read and analyze proposal requests.
  • Write and edit professional, quality proposal documents and other marketing materials and presentations as required.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop RFP response strategy.
  • Develop new content to meet specific opportunities.
  • Produce visual communication materials that are consistent with our brand and vision.
  • Layout documents in various programs (InDesign primarily).
  • Assist with maintenance and brand consistency of the corporate website.
  • Assist with Social Media updates (LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook).
  • Participate in Social Events promoting the Firm's Expertise and Brand Identity.

Qualifications:

  • College or university degree in design, architecture, engineering, writing, languages, translation, journalism, communication, marketing, public relations, administration or any other related field.
  • Diploma in Visual Communications would be considered an asset.
  • Between three and five years of experience in marketing and communication project management or coordination.
  • Experience in the field of construction, architecture, and interior design is an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint) and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) are essential.
  • Excellent writing and grammar skills.
  • Knowledge of graphic design, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a vibrant and energetic organization.
