Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Family Law Attorney with at least 3 years of experience to join our growing legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family law matters, excellent litigation and negotiation skills, and a client-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle a diverse caseload of family law matters including divorce, child custody, child and spousal support, adoption, and domestic violence.
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences.
• Prepare and draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, discovery, and agreements.
• Conduct legal research and stay current on developments in family law.
• Advise and counsel clients with compassion and professionalism.
• Manage case files and maintain accurate, detailed case notes.

Requirements:

• Licensed and in good standing with the Quebec Bar.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing family law.
• Strong courtroom presence and trial experience is an asset.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines efficiently.
• Client-focused, empathetic, and ethical approach to legal practice.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in high-conflict custody cases or complex asset division.
• Mediation or collaborative law training is a plus.
• Bilingual ability is a bonus
