The Co-op Refinery Complex (CRC) is hiring a Senior Design (CAD) Systems Administrator on a permanent basis with our Technical Services team. This is a hybrid opportunity based in Regina, SK with the option to work from home up to 2 days per week.

We are seeking an experienced systems administrator with a strong background in programming, configuration, and supporting system users. This role requires a self-motivated professional who can operate independently while effectively collaborating across multidisciplinary teams. What you'll do:

Lead the backend configuration, programming, and ongoing maintenance of CAD and 3D modeling systems, ensuring software functionality aligns with technical drafting standards and refinery-specific requirements.
Develop, troubleshoot, and implement custom scripts, macros, and system enhancements to optimize CAD workflows and automate repetitive tasks across the platform.
Act as the technical authority on CAD system architecture, providing in-depth support for software issues, debugging system errors, and coordinating resolution of backend problems with IT and vendors.
Work closely with software vendors and internal IT teams to manage system integrations, apply patches and updates, resolve technical escalations, and customize platform features to meet operational needs and budget constraints.
Define and maintain backend system rules and configurations for drafting and piping specifications to ensure compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements across engineering deliverables.
Support and configure related platforms such as CMMS and laser scan software, ensuring seamless data integration with design systems and contributing to software roadmap planning, budgeting, and system upgrade forecasting.

The Team: You will work on a team of draftspersons, will report into the Drafting Supervisor, and will provide support to a variety stakeholders such as engineers, maintenance, EPC's, etc.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in CAD support and administration and:

Have 6+ years experience in programming, configuration, and maintenance of drafting and/or CAD software, ideally within an industrial setting. Experience working with MicroStation and OpenPlant within Bentley Systems would be an asset. If you do not have experience in these systems, we are willing to train the right candidate!
Have a two-year diploma from a recognized institute (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered)
Are adept in providing a high level of customer service, able to work independently, and can effectively prioritize workload.
