- Supporting the build, packaging, and installation of the Linux kernel will be the responsibility of the successful candidate.
- Experience in supporting, enhancing, improving efficiency, and developing features for the Linux Driver build and packaging ecosystem, including user mode stacks for multiple Linux distributions.
- Participating actively in the support and development of the Linux driver stack for major mainstream and custom Linux distributions
- Participating actively in the collaborative design and implementation of solutions that are based on open source and industry standards.
- Contributing to the upkeep of the Linux driver stack's build, packaging, installation, and publishing ecosystem.
- Conducting investigation, triaging, analysis, and resolution of problems as reported by customers and QA.
- Improving the quality and efficiency of the building and packaging infrastructure through the design and implementation of solutions.
- Being aware of the latest trends and innovations in the Linux kernel, Linux distributions, and open-source ecosystems.
- Investigating alternative and more efficient methods of achieving better results while debugging and fixing existing issues.
- Establishing effective technical relationships with peers and partners.
