What will you do?
- Understand the big picture to define business capabilities and go forward roadmap.
- Analyze and define user needs and translate them into requirements/epics/user stories/data requirements/data mapping documents
- Analyze and define data needs to build out the data and analytics platform for HNW/UHNW insurance space
- Expand and grow existing platform capabilities to solve new data problems and challenges
- Identify opportunities for new data acquisition and new uses for existing data resources
- Analyze and document how systems, processes, procedures, and clients will be impacted by future development with a focus on the links between processes, systems and data throughout the organisation.
- Create and/or review and provide comments on business and technical documentation.
- Support business on the roll-out of what has been developed with a focus on end-to-end validation.
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders, influencing and sharing recommendations
What do you need to succeed?
- University degree in business or technology or equivalent experience.
- 5 to 10 years of progressive experience as a Business & Systems Analyst with both waterfall and agile methodologies.
- Experience in the life insurance or related financial services industry
- Experience in data analysis, data visualization, data and integration modelling or supporting a data and analytics platform
- Experienced in transformational system work, moving from legacy system to modern system.
- Experience working with client facing technologies/digital engagement platforms.
- Experience in AWS Data service components is an asset
- Knowledge of Design Thinking principles.
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong understanding of privacy, compliance, control, and security requirements.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and simply both complex business and technical concepts and align organization on decisions.
- Ability to work and demonstrate cooperation in a matrixed team environment.
- Comfortable working in ambiguous environments.
