  • 12-Month Contract
  • Start Date: July 28th , 2025
  • Location: Hybrid (1x onsite Thursday and 4th Friday in Toronto)
  • Salary: 65-68/hr T4A

About the Role

As a Senior Manager on the Marketing Modernization team, you will lead and support initiatives that advance CIBC's Digital & Direct Marketing ecosystem. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to implement Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions, manage strategic projects, and drive marketing technology transformation.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in project management, ideally in marketing or digital transformation
  • Proven experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Journey Builder
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce Data Cloud
  • Strong understanding of marketing technology implementation
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Experience in the banking or financial services industry
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Marketing Cloud Consultant, Administrator)
  • Familiarity with Adobe Marketing tools

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership:
  • Lead Salesforce Marketing Cloud-related projects from planning to execution, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.
  • Manage both Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
  • Salesforce Expertise:
  • Leverage deep knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Journey Builder and Data Cloud, to guide implementation and optimization.
  • Act as a technical liaison-while not a developer, you understand the platform's capabilities and can translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Partner with Marketing, Technology, Product, and external vendors to ensure cohesive project delivery.
  • Present updates and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Strategic Thinking:
  • Contribute to the development of the marketing modernization roadmap.
  • Analyze market trends and client behavior to inform strategy.
  • Change Management:
  • Develop and execute change management strategies to support adoption of new tools and processes.
