Our client, a Contract Research Organization, is looking to hire a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join their dynamic team.

Position summary:

The Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a key role in the attraction and hiring of talent while being an ambassador of the Company's values. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will work closely with the hiring managers and other members of Human Resources to understand the staffing needs and build a pipeline of qualified candidates to support the business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end recruitment process including sourcing, job posting, resume screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding, across our global sites;

• Build strong relationships with hiring managers from various departments through understanding of the different business units and requirements for each role;

• As a subject matter expert, offer guidance to hiring managers on the appropriate recruitment strategies, interviewing approach, and candidate evaluation;

• Proactively understand business staffing needs and act as talent advisor to business leaders by tracking and leveraging data, insights and trends to positively influence outcomes;

• Monitor the hiring process and maintain accurate records of all recruitment activities in the ATS to assure compliance across our hiring practices to meet applicable employment regulations and laws;

• Promote the company's culture and values as a brand ambassador to attract qualified talent;

• Recommend, develop and implement recruitment best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to align with the evolving talent market;

• Attend local recruitment and networking events and other recruitment-related activities to build relationship with potential candidates in support of business priorities;

• Maintain timely communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process ensuring candidates feel valued and respected;

• Participate in special projects and perform other HR duties as required based on business needs.

Main Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

• 2 + years of experience managing full cycle recruiting, preferably in life sciences or related industries;

• Proven track record of success in managing a variety of professional and specialized roles across different business units;

• Knowledge of recruitment best practices, market trends and relevant employment laws;

• Experience using applicant tracking system and social media tools for recruitment and sourcing;

• Excellent communication skills in English and French (both written and verbal);

• Note: English is required for this role as the incumbent will be supporting sites across Canada, the US, and Australia.

• Strong collaboration and influencing skills - a combination of warmth and competence;

• Demonstrated ability to prioritize and self-manage in a fast-paced environment;

• A proactive and positive approach combined with adaptability and a "can do" attitude.
