We are seeking a Product Owner, Client Facing Tools to join our dynamic team!

The Product Owner, Client Facing Tools is responsible for translating business needs into actionable requirements for the development team, ensuring solutions are aligned with company objectives and user expectations. This role supports both strategic initiatives and day-to-day execution across agile product teams.

The Product Owner, Client Facing Tools works closely with Product Management, UX, development, delivery, and QA teams to define and prioritize features, manage the product backlog, and ensure clarity and alignment throughout the product lifecycle. The individual in this role is expected to have a solid understanding of FinTech and Financial Planning practices, along with strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

This is a remote / work from home opportunity.

Duties of the role include:

Translate business requirements into clear specifications or user stories for development and QA.

Manage and refine the development backlog:

Ensure backlog items are well-defined, prioritized, and aligned with business goals.

Facilitate backlog refinement and sprint planning sessions.

Collaborate with development leads to coordinate cross-team work.

Monitor progress of epics, features, and tasks; report status updates.

Communicate risks, blockers, or delays to internal and external stakeholders.

Collaborate with UX teams, applying usability, accessibility, and design thinking principles.

Conduct business acceptance testing and validation of new features.

Engage in discovery and research to support product development.

Build and maintain productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications required:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Experience in the Financial Planning industry or financial technology sector.

Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Financial Planner role.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.

Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Comfortable working independently and within collaborative team environments.

Experience with agile methodologies and business analysis best practices.

Strong presentation, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Curiosity and enthusiasm for continuous learning and product innovation.

Bilingual considered an asset.
