Digital Production Manager (E-commerce)

Overview

We are seeking a Digital Product Manager to lead the roadmap, optimization, and continuous evolution of our e-commerce experience. You'll focus on driving conversion, enhancing customer journeys, and delivering meaningful outcomes across our Shopify-based DTC business. This role will be central to our Shopify migration project and long-term digital growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Planning

  • Own and evolve the digital product roadmap across the Shopify Plus ecosystem.
  • Define requirements and prioritise features based on customer insights, stakeholder needs, and business goals.
  • Lead discovery and solutioning sessions for new features and optimisation opportunities.
  • Translate customer needs and technical constraints into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Use qualitative and quantitative data to inform and validate product decisions.

Project Management & Execution

  • Manage the full lifecycle of digital product development, from discovery through deployment.
  • Partner with the Technical Program Manager to execute product delivery across sprints and initiatives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, marketing, CX, and merchandising teams to align the product roadmap with business objectives.
  • Support the successful migration from a legacy platform to Shopify Plus, ensuring continuity of features, data, and experience.
  • Manage third-party vendors, consultants, and external partners to ensure delivery aligns with project goals and timelines.

Platform & Performance Optimisation

  • Lead conversion rate optimisation (CRO) initiatives through structured testing and user behaviour analysis.
  • Monitor KPIs such as CVR, AOV, LTV, bounce rate, and session depth to guide decision-making.
  • Maintain deep familiarity with Shopify ecosystem apps, features, and limitations.

Data & Analytics

  • Leverage tools like GA4, Full Story, Hotjar, Mouseflow, Looker Studio and Shopify reports to identify trends, UX issues, and opportunities.
  • Translate insights into actionable features and optimisations to enhance customer experience and drive revenue.

Technology & Innovation

  • Collaborate on solutions involving subscriptions (e.g., Recharge), ERP, and PIM integrations.
  • Stay current with e-commerce trends, personalization technologies, and Shopify advancements to identify new opportunities.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 3-5 years of experience in digital product management, preferably in e-commerce or DTC.
  • Strong understanding of Shopify Plus and its capabilities.
  • Proven experience supporting or leading website rebuilds or re-platforming projects.
  • Experience with CRO tools (e.g., GA4, Full Story, Hotjar, Mouseflow) and A/B testing methodologies.
  • Familiarity with subscriptions, DTC MarTech, ERP/PIM integrations, and product lifecycle management.
  • Comfortable working with front-end technologies and collaborating closely with developers and designers.
  • Strong communication, organisation, and prioritisation skills.
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills.
  • Experience using tools such as Jira, Asana, Figma, and Google Analytics.
  • Experience working with datasets in BigQuery is an asset.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered tools and applications is a bonus.
