Job Summary: To support the execution of the Chief Information Security Officer's (CISO) mandate, cyber vision and strategy, providing technical and business advice, support and services on Threat Management cyber programs and initiatives to all City divisions, agencies and corporations.

To define, develop and support Threat Management cyber programs and initiatives, engaging with teams across the organization to build alignment on key projects and develop execution roadmaps.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead design, deployment, and assessment of cloud security solutions (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
• Conduct cloud architecture reviews, threat modelling, and risk assessments.
• Develop and implement cloud security standards, policies, and controls.
• Provide technical leadership and training to internal teams on cloud security best practices.
• Oversee project staff and contractors, including performance and team coordination.
• Collaborate across departments and with senior leadership on risk mitigation strategies.
• Contribute to program development, budgeting, reporting, and vendor engagement.
• Respond to security incidents and lead initiatives for threat detection and response.

Qualifications:

• Post-secondary degree in Technology, Business, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in Cloud Security & Threat Management.
• Hands-on expertise in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
• Strong understanding of containerization, orchestration, and cloud-native services.
• Experience conducting security assessments and implementing controls in cloud environments.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Certifications:

CISSP, CRISC, OSCP, CEH, GPEN (any one or more).
