Our challenge

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Full Stack Developer with expertise in Angular to join our innovative development team. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining end-to-end web applications, combining robust backend solutions with engaging, responsive front-end interfaces.

Additional Information

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Montreal, QC is CAD $60,000 - CAD $85,000/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable web applications using Java technologies (Spring Boot, Hibernate, etc.) on the backend.
• Build intuitive, responsive, and user-friendly front-end applications using Angular.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX/UI designers, product managers, and backend developers to deliver seamless features.
• Write clean, modular, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Optimize application performance across devices and browsers.
• Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing to ensure high quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and issues promptly.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Java Full Stack Developer with strong Angular skills.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful web services.
• Hands-on experience with Angular (version 8+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3.
• Familiarity with front-end build tools like Angular CLI, Webpack.
• Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with containerization tools like Docker.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of frontend state management (NgRx, Redux).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• UI/UX design understanding.
