Our challenge

We are looking for a talented and passionate Front-End Angular Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building modern, responsive, and user-friendly web interfaces using Angular framework, translating UI/UX designs into functional applications, and ensuring optimal performance across devices.

Additional Information

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Montreal, QC is CAD $60,000 - CAD $85,000/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

Develop user interfaces and micro frontends for web applications using Angular framework.

Design and implement responsive and user-friendly interfaces based on provided wireframes and design mockups.

Collaborate with backend developers to integrate frontend components with server-side logic.

Optimize application performance and ensure responsiveness across various devices and browsers.

Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.

Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience as a frontend developer with a focus on Angular framework.
  • Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3.
  • Strong knowledge of TypeScript.
  • Experience with state management libraries/frameworks such as NgRx.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Jasmine or Karma.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of micro frontends architecture and frameworks
  • Experience with Object Oriented programming languages such as Java.
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
