Job Summary
- We are seeking a skilled MDM Specialist with a strong background in banking to join our team in Toronto.
- The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Master Data Management (MDM), production support, and a deep understanding of Unix and SQL.
- This role requires exceptional troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills to ensure optimal application performance and client satisfaction in a fast-paced banking environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain MDM solutions to support banking operations.
- Provide production support, including troubleshooting and resolving application issues.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for DB2 and SQL databases to ensure efficient data processing.
- Utilize Unix environments for scripting, debugging, and system management.
- Perform performance tuning and optimization of applications to address bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver client-facing solutions.
- Document processes and ensure adherence to ITIL standards for incident and change management.
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to drive issue resolution and project success.
Required Skills (Maximum of 6)
- MDM Skills: Proven experience implementing and supporting MDM solutions in a banking context.
- Production Support Experience: Hands-on expertise in managing and resolving production issues.
- Unix and SQL: Deep understanding and practical experience in Unix scripting and advanced SQL query development.
- Database Expertise: Proficiency in DB2 and SQL for data management and optimization.
- Troubleshooting and Debugging: Strong ability to debug code and identify performance bottlenecks.
- Banking Experience: Mandatory experience in the banking sector, understanding industry-specific data and compliance needs.
Nice-to-Have Skills (Maximum of 3)
- HTML and Python: Familiarity with HTML for front-end integration and Python for scripting or automation.
- ServiceNOW Experience: Knowledge of ServiceNOW for incident tracking and workflow management.
- ITIL Certification: Certification in ITIL frameworks for IT service management.

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in MDM, production support, and banking applications.
- Demonstrated expertise in Unix, SQL, and DB2 with at least 3 years of hands-on experience.
