Intermediate UX Designer - Digital Wealth
Location: 81 Bay Street, Toronto, ON (Hybrid - in office every Wednesday)
Contract Duration: ASAP start - October 31, 2025

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (37.5 hrs/week)
About the Role
A leading financial institution is seeking an Entry-Level UX/UI Designer to join its Digital Wealth team supporting the private wealth division. You will play a key role in designing engaging user experiences across servicing platforms, contributing to visual design, component consistency, and accessibility.

What You'll Be Doing
- Support UI/UX design across web and mobile platforms, using design systems and brand standards
- Create wireframes, mockups, and production-ready assets in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
- Collaborate with senior designers, developers, PMs, and POs to ensure cohesive execution
- Apply accessibility guidelines (WCAG 2.1) and maintain brand consistency
- Contribute to design reviews and provide thoughtful feedback
- Work on a variety of projects within servicing platforms for wealth clients
Must-Have Qualifications
- 2+ years of production design or UI/UX experience
- Formal education or relevant UX/UI training (degree, diploma, bootcamp, or certification)
- Strong understanding of UI/UX best practices, usability heuristics, and design principles
- Hands-on experience with Figma (components, libraries, prototyping)
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
- Portfolio (PDF or website) showcasing multi-screen work and UI/UX consistency
Nice-to-Have
- Prior experience in financial services or on servicing platforms (wealth or retail)
- Familiarity with UX research or user testing
- Interest in designing for high-net-worth clients

Interview Process
- 1st Round: 60-minute MS Teams with Hiring Manager
- 2nd Round: 30-minute MS Teams with Hiring Manager + Designer
