Our client, a growing and established company based in SW Calgary, is seeking a Business Development Representative to join their team on a full-time, in-office basis.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The key job functions are:
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive company growth.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients through outreach, meetings, and follow-up.
- Research and qualify leads through various sources, including networking, referrals, industry events, and digital channels.
- Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and other sales documents to potential clients.
- Work closely with internal teams-including operations, marketing, and leadership-to ensure alignment on client needs and smooth onboarding.
- Track leads, opportunities, and client interactions using CRM systems.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to represent the company and generate leads.
- Stay informed on market trends, industry developments, and competitor activity to support outreach strategy.
- Support the development and execution of sales strategies and campaigns.
- Meet or exceed individual KPIs related to lead generation, outreach activity, and deal conversion.
Education:
- Post-secondary education in business, sales, or a related field is considered an asset.
Qualifications:
- A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle are required, as local travel to client meetings and events is expected.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of business development or outside sales experience is required.

- Lead Generation & Prospecting - Skilled in identifying, qualifying, and nurturing new business opportunities across various channels.

- Proposal & Contract Coordination - Experienced in preparing, presenting, and following up on proposals, quotes, and service agreements.
- Time Management & Prioritization - Effective at managing a busy schedule, balancing outreach, follow-ups, and meetings.
- Communication Skills - Clear and professional in verbal and written interactions with prospects, clients, and internal teams.
- Problem Solving - Resourceful and solutions-focused when navigating client needs or sales process challenges.
- CRM & Sales Tools Proficiency - Comfortable using customer relationship management systems to track leads and manage outreach.
- Networking & Event Participation - Confident representing the company at trade shows, networking functions, and industry events.
- Attention to Detail - Thorough and organized in documentation, communication, and tracking sales activities.
- Negotiation Skills - Capable of guiding conversations and proposals toward mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Adaptability - Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with shifting priorities.
Base Salary:
- Salary based on experience.

Work Hours:
- 40 hours per week.
- Monday to Friday.
Remote Work:
- This position is not remote and required to be on-site.
