We are currently seeking a Part-Time Realty & Legal Liaison to support the ongoing administration and coordination of a dynamic real estate portfolio. This role plays a key part in facilitating property acquisition activities and supporting broader project delivery through effective documentation, data management, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, organize, and maintain property acquisition documentation related to securing, purchasing, or expropriating land.
- Review and analyze real estate documents for accuracy, compliance, and alignment with project requirements; identify issues and recommend corrective actions.
- Track and manage outstanding documentation and action items to ensure acquisition milestones are met; escalate delays or concerns when needed.
- Monitor real estate data for accuracy and consistency throughout the acquisition process.
- Maintain and update records to support timely and accurate reporting on acquisition, expropriation, and property delivery status.
- Conduct research on property-related data as required.
- Create PowerPoint presentations to support project tracking and team updates.
Qualifications:
- Background in land acquisition, urban planning, real estate, or asset management is preferred.
- Experience with GIS systems and applications is an asset.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and handle large volumes of data efficiently.
- Detail-oriented and capable of delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines.
