Join our Client, an Industry Leader and Specialist in custom design and fabrication of metal equipment and products!

As the Team Lead based in Regina, you will bring an entrepreneurial, artistic spirit supported by strong hands-on technical/welding experience.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead and mentor the welding fabrication team, fostering creativity, collaboration, and efficiency in a fast-paced environment. Build/maintain a positive, competent and motivated work team.
  • Demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset to identify and execute innovative approaches to fabrication challenges.
  • Design, build and assemble custom metal projects/equipment, ensuring a balance of functionality and artistic integrity. Work hands-on alongside the team as well as provide mentoring and support.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and provide solutions to resolve issues related to measurements, design specifications, and welding techniques.
  • Provide quality assurance, ensuring high standards are upheld and projects are inspected for precision, durability, and accuracy. Ensure adherence to safety procedures.
  • Project Management: Oversee fabrication timelines and material sourcing, ensuring timely delivery of exceptional products.
  • Stay current with new techniques, tools, and technologies to advance fabrication processes and ensure continuous improvement.

As the selected Applicant, you will bring:

  • Relevant welding training or experience.
  • Proven experience in fabrication, with a portfolio showcasing technical and artistic welding projects. Technical proficiency using fabrication tools, materials, and software.
  • Experience leading teams, delegating tasks, and inspiring a collaborative work environment.
  • Comfortable reading blueprints, using computer software programs.
  • Motivated team leader with a strong artistic vision, technical talent and the ability to integrate creativity into practical applications. Automotive/mobile/equipment/work solution based.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and demonstrated ability to think creatively, take initiative and solve problems innovatively.
  • Strong attention to detail, with an exceptional focus on precision, craftsmanship, and aesthetics.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey ideas and instructions.

Must have a Class 5 Drivers License and pass a Security Clearance.

Hours of work: 6:00 am - 4:30 pm Monday to Thursday, 4 ten-hour days.
