Position Title: Manager, Total Compensation
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: October 2025
Schedule: 7.5 hours/day, Monday-Friday

Your new role:
This role provides leadership in the development and delivery of equitable and sustainable total compensation and employee services. The Manager supports strategic planning, guides compensation and benefits practices, and collaborates across departments to ensure consistent application of policies and regulatory compliance. They are a key resource for leadership and a mentor to HR teams.
Your new Responsibilities
- Oversee compensation and benefits strategies, policies, and day-to-day operations
- Guide internal stakeholders on compensation matters including evaluations, pay structures, and incentive programs
- Monitor legislative changes and evolving market trends to recommend process or policy enhancements
- Develop internal tools and training to support understanding and consistency in HR practices
- Manage vendor relationships and service providers tied to total rewards and benefits
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives to align systems and reporting with organizational goals
- Provide strategic insights into complex compensation questions and executive-level decision-making
- Build internal capability within HR and act as a coach and subject matter expert
- Ensure integrity and optimization of HR technology platforms and workflows
- Contribute to planning and budgeting processes related to total rewards and shared services
What you will need to succeed:
- Degree in Business, HR, or a related discipline; Master's preferred
- 8-10 years of relevant experience, including compensation strategy and team leadership
- Familiarity with Canadian compensation regulations and HRIS (PeopleSoft/Oracle)
- Certified Compensation Professional designation considered an asset
