Title and Summary

Director, Product Management Overview

Mastercard provides a range of technology solutions and services to drive consumer engagement. As part of the Global Cardholder Services team, the Director of Commercialization will work across sales engagement, go-to-market strategy, and marketing communications. This key role will be responsible for achieving impactful revenue targets and increasing awareness of Cardholder Services both internally and externally.

The successful candidate will partner with key stakeholders across global and regional Cardholder Services teams, Sales/Account Management, Finance, and B2B Marketing to gather, analyze, and disseminate relevant information. The ideal candidate is organized, an effective communicator, flexible, and a strong leader.

Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Sales Engagement:
  • Design global collateral plans and training programs for key stakeholders (sales, account management, etc.)
  • Manage agency relationships and strategies for collateral and research
  • Collaborate with regions to track the sales pipeline and ensure revenue targets are met
  • Create case studies and conduct research to support the Cardholder Services narrative through data
  • Go-to-Market Strategy:
    • Partner with segment or product teams to develop strategies for new go-to-market approaches (e.g., debit, SME)
    • Create strategies for channel expansion beyond Loyalty Sales; oversee the launch of Benefit Pass in LAC and NAM and expansion to additional regions
    • Collaborate with the new benefits team on launching new benefits
  • Marketing / Communications:
    • Create and identify distribution channels for issuer marketing to promote benefits usage
    • Partner with regions and external agencies to manage the Global Services Google Ad budget and strategy
    • Coordinate with PR / Communications on speaking or event opportunities for Cardholder Services internally and externally

    • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and tailor messages to different audiences
    • Proven leadership skills with experience in developing team members
    • Customer-first mindset with curiosity about industry trends and ability to adapt CHS positioning accordingly
    • Skilled in influencing and motivating collaboration, with a vision for unifying sales and regional stakeholders around strategic goals
    • Collaborative team player who embodies the "Mastercard Way" and fosters alignment across diverse teams
    • Agile mindset with the ability to quickly understand new ideas and demonstrate critical thinking
