Numbers, prices, tax structures and analysis are in your DNA while you are not afraid to pick up the phone and ask questions. In the role of Pricing execution analyst Revenue Management - Ontario and West, you will be part of the Revenue Management team and facilitate revenue and profit maximization across the business unit through fact-based analysis supporting price, promotions, trade terms and portfolio management by channel. Price/Revenue Management is a strategic lever that supports the business unit in its competitive efforts in the Canadian market.
The Revenue Management Analyst supporting our WEST/Ontario team is a key player in providing price strategy, competitive price analysis, and promotional effectiveness expertise, acting as a liaison with regional Pricing teams, sales, and brand marketing.
This position reports to the Pricing Strategy & Analytics Manager - Ontario and West and works closely with sales teams, finance, channel marketing, and category solutions to drive holistic recommendations.
You will:
- Coordinate to develop and implement pricing strategies for all strategic brands, including global shared services.
- Manage relationships with liquor boards to ensure price accuracy and track changes.
- Interpret market data to develop actionable recommendations.
- Support development of pricing and promotional strategies using various instruments.
- Manage the price data warehouse and compile diagnostics and performance scorecards.
- Support consumer pricing research and market price information.
- Assist regional pricing teams with Revenue Management requests.
- Manage price and discount submissions to external administrators.
You will also:
- Lead promotional strategy development using effectiveness tools.
- Support sales with analysis and modeling to improve promotional effectiveness.
- Collaborate with IT to define system requirements for pricing tools.
Qualifications:
- Enjoy tackling complex projects and challenges.
- Confident, diplomatic, and professional with strong judgment and relationship skills.
- Results-oriented with a proven track record in analytics and insights.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- 3+ years of experience in trade marketing, finance, business intelligence, or strategy.
- Proficient in Excel and other analytical tools, with a curiosity for new tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
- Ability to consent to a criminal background check as part of the recruitment process.
