Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Proficiency Testing Program Officer, located in Ottawa, ON with some work-from-home flexibility. The Proficiency Testing Program Officer will manage day-to-day operations of proficiency testing programs, which includes coordinating with laboratories, planning and executing testing schedules, reviewing and analyzing test results, and preparing detailed reports. This role also involves maintaining and improving current testing programs and developing new initiatives to meet industry standards.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Experience in laboratory testing, quality assurance, and proficiency testing
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in data analysis and report preparation
• Bachelor's degree in a science-related field, such as Chemistry or Biology
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Proficient in the use of computers and office software
