Job Description:
- Provide support and oversight for project management activities to ensure high-quality project delivery under the guidance of a Project Manager.
- May be responsible for managing a specific phase of a project or overseeing a smaller-scale governance project with coaching from a Project Manager.
- Coordinate overall project efforts, maintain status reporting, and ensure project stability.
- Assist the Project Manager with daily tasks, including status updates, using project management methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations.
- Administer and track projects through all phases, from initiation to completion.
- Identify scheduling issues and potential project risks.
- Ensure alignment with governance and processes, following guidance from project managers, QA, and compliance teams regarding procedures, metrics, and reporting.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in project coordination or a related role.
- Familiarity with Enterprise Portfolio Management (EPM) tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- College diploma or equivalent education.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with a proactive approach to follow-ups and task completion.
- Ability to collect, analyze, and report on statistical data.
- Capable of interpreting and applying organizational guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Skilled at managing multiple deliverables in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
