ITnet is looking for an experience Cloud Platform Analyst for an exciting contract opportunity!

The role involves assessing GoC standards and best practices while facilitating collaboration for enhancements and drafting recommendations for senior management. Duties include producing options analysis documents with detailed assessments for decision-making, conducting architecture review reports to identify risks and improvement areas, and resolving IT incidents with comprehensive documentation of the processes involved. The successful candidate will prepare progress reports summarizing milestones and assist SMEs in documenting security-focused procedures with relevant references. Trend analysis summaries and reports on security-related events, along with evaluations of internet access infrastructure vulnerabilities, are also essential. The position requires training preparation and knowledge transfer sessions as necessary, with adaptability for additional documentation as instructed.

Key requirements:

• Active Secret Clearance
• 7+ years of experience in Cloud support, tenant operations, and delivery of Platform Services
• 7+ years of experience assisting with options analysis and recommending cloud adoption strategies tailored to both AWS and Azure platforms for IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS cloud solutions
• 7+ years of experience implementing solutions to validate recommended strategies on the IRCC platform, leveraging AWS, Azure, and containerization technologies such as Docker
• 7+ years of experience configuring and optimizing IaaS cloud services, such as AWS EC2 and Azure Virtual Machines, and implementing security controls to ensure compliance with Government of Canada requirements
• 7+ years of experience developing and managing CI/CD pipelines and cloud development environments using tools compatible with both AWS and Azure ecosystems
• Demonstrated demonstrate experience with the Government of Canada AWS Cloud and/or Government of Canada Azure and/or supported, implemented or designed connectivity utilizing the Government of Canada Secure Cloud-to-Ground (SC2G)
