As Coordinator, Annual Giving, you'll support the planning and execution of direct response campaigns and digital content that engage donors, tell compelling stories, and drive impact. About the Role
As a coordinator on the Community Engagement team, you will support the execution and overall general administration of the Foundation's annual giving and community engagement initiatives, helping to ensure fundraising goals and community outreach objectives are achieved.
Key Responsibilities:
Annual Giving Program Support
- Assist in the execution of annual giving strategies, including monthly giving, seasonal appeals and donor stewardship initiatives.
- Coordinate donor communications and touchpoints to enhance retention and engagement.
- Support donor segmentation and personalization efforts.
Direct Response Campaign Execution
- Support the planning and implementation of direct response campaigns, including direct mail and digital (email, social media and online giving).
- Liaise with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate campaign delivery.
- Assist with creative development, proofing and approvals for campaign materials.
Digital Content & Communications
- Draft and schedule email communications and social media posts related to annual giving.
- Support website content updates and optimization for donor engagement.
- Assist with basic graphic design and video editing as needed.
Cross-Team Collaboration & Coverage
- Collaborate with the Coordinator, Fundraising Events & Lotteries to ensure seamless coverage and shared support across community engagement initiatives.
- Provide occasional support for events, lotteries, and community-led fundraising as needed.
Special Projects & Administration
- Assist with special projects and initiatives as identified by the Manager.
- Schedule meetings, take minutes, and support general administrative tasks.
About You
You're a detail-oriented communicator with a passion for purpose-driven work and a knack for connecting with audiences through compelling campaigns. You thrive in collaborative, fast-paced environments, enjoy juggling multiple projects, and bring both creativity and precision to everything you do. Whether it's crafting a donor email, analyzing campaign results, or coordinating with vendors, you're energized by the opportunity to make a meaningful impact through your work.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- University degree or college diploma in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- Passion for fundraising, donor relations, and community impact
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (especially Word and Excel)
- Available for occasional evening/weekend work
- Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion
Nice to Have:
- Experience with fundraising CRMs (e.g., Raiser's Edge NXT)
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms and social media tools
- Graphic design or video editing experience (e.g., Canva, Photoshop)
- Understanding of direct response fundraising principles
