We're looking to significantly expand our presence across North America and are seeking passionate and driven Independent Sales Representatives to help us achieve that goal.
Job Summary
Aparso is on the hunt for experienced and results-oriented Independent Sales Representatives to promote and sell our distinct line of outdoor apparel to retailers and distributors throughout North America. This is a commission-based independent contractor role, perfect for self-starters who are passionate about the outdoors and excel at generating new business relationships within the retail landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new sales opportunities with outdoor retailers, specialty stores, and distributors within your assigned territory.
- Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline to consistently meet and exceed sales targets for Aparso apparel.
- Conduct compelling product presentations and demonstrate the features and benefits of our outdoor clothing line to prospective clients.
- Understand client needs and effectively communicate the value proposition of Aparso's unique brand and product offerings.
- Negotiate and close sales agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key accounts.
- Provide regular sales reports and updates to Aparso management.
- Stay informed about outdoor apparel industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
- Represent Aparso professionally and ethically at all times, upholding our brand values.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record of success in independent sales, specifically within the outdoor apparel, sporting goods, or fashion retail industries.
- Demonstrated ability to generate leads, close deals, and achieve sales quotas.
- Existing network of contacts within the outdoor retail sector is a significant plus.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong understanding of the sales process and customer relationship management.
- Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Access to a reliable computer, internet connection, and phone.
- A genuine passion for the outdoors and familiarity with outdoor activities and gear is highly preferred.
- Ability to travel as needed for client meetings, trade shows, and industry events (specify estimated percentage or frequency if applicable).
