Role Summary:
We're looking for a skilled IT System Administrator - Fire Services to lead and support the mission-critical technology systems that power our Fire Department operations - including 911 dispatch, mobile data terminals, and records management systems.

What You'll Do:
- Manage and support Fire Services IT systems: CAD (Computer-Aided Dispatch), RMS (Records Management Systems), mobile tech, radio, and telephony.
- Lead system upgrades, software deployments, and IT change initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to ensure high-performance and reliable operations.
- Serve as the go-to technical expert during system incidents and outages.
- Deliver training, maintain documentation, and support end users.
- Be the first point of contact for after-hours IT incidents (on-call rotation).
What You Bring:
- Diploma in Computer Science or related field, plus 5+ years in IT system administration (especially public safety or emergency services tech).
- Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL, mobile infrastructure, and radio/telephony systems (Avaya, Cisco).
- Strong communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.
- IT certifications (A+, MCSE, Cisco, ITIL) are assets.
- Valid G-class driver's license and ability to lift to 50 lbs.
