An excellent role on offer for a Purchasing Manager to join a global leading construction contractor, where the current Purchasing Manager will provide an extensive handover period before they retire for you to become a technical expert in this field.

This company work with globally recognised companies as the lead contractor on incredible projects. Due to winning several high values, lucrative contracts they are looking to recruit a motivated Purchasing Manager to join their expert team.

In this role you will lead and direct a team of 5 buyers, and you will oversee supply chain and purchasing activities across their Canadian operations. You will also determine, track and execute key functional metrics to ensure company achieves their efficiencies and productivities.

This role would ideally suit a Purchasing Manager from the construction and or/ electrical, where you will receive fantastic training learning directly under the current VP.

The Role:

Managing and leading a team of 5 buyers

Establish and execute work practices and procedures

Perform cost and scenario analysis

The Person:

Must have excellent managerial experience

Must have Electrical purchasing experience

Is hungry for a long-term career
