Business Analyst - Wealth Management

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead business and systems analysis activities for modernization initiatives within portfolio management, client advisory, and investment operations.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, solution architects, and development teams to gather and translate requirements for transitioning legacy wealth management systems to modern platforms.
  • Work closely with product owners and scrum teams to define epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria in Agile environments.
  • Participate in application rationalization and data migration planning for legacy-to-cloud transformations.
  • Support integration of front, middle, and back-office wealth systems, including CRM, portfolio management, risk, and compliance tools.
  • Ensure solutions align with regulatory and security standards and meet advisor and client experience goals.
  • Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams, ensuring smooth communication and solution delivery.

Finance and Accounting

ESSENTIAL_SKILLS

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, with a strong focus on Finance and wealth advisory domains.
  • Proven experience working on digital transformation or core system modernization initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of microservices, APIs, cloud-native architecture, and integration patterns.
  • Solid knowledge of investment products and services: equities, fixed income, mutual funds, ETFs, alternatives, etc.

DESIRABLE_SKILLS

Experience working with enterprise integration tools and API gateways (e.g., MuleSoft, Apigee).

Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern DevOps environments.

Agile/Scrum certification (CSPO, Safe) or business analysis certification (CBAP, PMI-PBA).? Exposure to regulatory frameworks (e.g., SEC, FINRA, MiFID II) and data privacy compliance (GDPR, CCPA).
