Dynamics 365 FO Lead Consultant

The person in this role will be responsible for the D365 Finance design, implementation, future enhancements, and projects.

Job Expectations
- Act as the Functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) across all Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations functionalities, including system configuration, requirement analysis, and upgrades.
- Serve as the primary ERP functional owner for all finance-related processes, working closely with finance stakeholders.
- Lead the discovery and definition of business problems, evaluate solution options, and provide actionable recommendations as a Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Lead.
- Possess a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in D365 Finance & Operations or Supply Chain Management (SCM) implementations, with deep expertise in key finance modules: GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets, Consolidation, Banking, Inventory Costing, Landed Cost, Budgeting, Financial Reporting, and Tax.
- Act as a liaison with business users for new requests, solution evaluations, and process ownership.
- Contribute to the organization's Dynamics 365 technology roadmap and long-term strategy.
- Ensure thorough and compliant project documentation, including change management and quality control, in accordance with established standards
- Develop detailed solution designs and process documentation, ensuring successful implementation as per defined plans.
- Manage end-to-end testing processes, including coordination with business teams and integration validation (e.g., SKGlobal Treasury Automation Suite).
- Support training and knowledge transfer initiatives to drive user adoption and maximize solution value.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative solutions that address key business challenges.
- Lead all functional aspects of implementation, including requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design, integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), training, and post-go-live support (hypercare).
- Identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement within existing systems and business processes.
- Oversee the evaluation and business case development for new Microsoft releases and internal enhancement requests.
- Drive regression testing processes for all finance-related updates and releases.
Mandatory & Prefrerred Skills
- 5+ years in D365 F&O/SCM Finance implementation & support
- Strong experience with system design, fit-gap, integrations, and regression testing
- Exposure to SKGlobal or OANDA a plus
