Our client, a well-established and respected property restoration company in Markham, Ontario, is seeking a reliable and hands-on Remediation Technician to join their growing team. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform water extraction, structural drying, mold remediation, and fire/smoke cleaning
• Set up and monitor remediation equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers, HEPA vacuums, etc.)
• Conduct demolition and removal of affected materials when required
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and proper use of PPE
• Document work performed, including photo documentation and moisture readings
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of job sites, tools, and equipment
• Provide excellent customer service while on-site, showing empathy and professionalism
• Assist crew leads and project managers in completing restoration projects on time

Requirements:

• Prior experience in restoration or remediation preferred but not required
• IICRC certifications (WRT, AMRT, FSRT, etc.) are considered an asset
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor in varying site conditions
• Valid Ontario driver's license with clean driving record
• Comfortable working occasional evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
