Job Opportunity: Business Analyst - Microsoft D365 Finance & Operations
Location: Remote (Preference for National Capital Region, Canada)
Travel: Occasional on-site work (1-2 days/month)
Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Analyst (BA) to support the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 F&O). This role will be instrumental in aligning business processes with technology, supporting stakeholders, and ensuring successful adoption of the new ERP system.
Key Responsibilities
- Stakeholder Support: Assist workstreams in understanding and testing new D365 functionality.
- Business Process Validation: Analyze and optimize existing workflows to align with D365 and organizational goals.
- Data Analysis: Evaluate current and future data requirements to support data migration activities.
- Reporting: Collaborate with the BI team to define and document reporting needs.
- Testing & Validation: Contribute to the Microsoft Business Process Catalogue, develop test cases, and validate solutions.
- Training & Support: Support the development and delivery of training materials to ensure user adoption.
- Documentation: Create and maintain functional specifications, interface requirements, and user manuals.
- Collaboration: Work closely with IT and SMEs to ensure system configurations meet business needs.
Qualifications
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years working with D365 Finance and Operations ERP (Must have)
- Candidate with background in shipping, logistics, and fulfillment (B2B/B2C) (Nice to have)
- Proven experience in ERP implementations and business process alignment
Skills:
- Strong communication and facilitation skills.
- Ability to voice ideas confidently and contribute to decision-making.
- Proficiency in tools such as MS Visio, SharePoint, Azure DevOps.
- Functional knowledge in Supply Chain, Finance, Manufacturing, Order Management, Retail, and Inventory.
- Understanding of cloud and hybrid networking environments.
