COMBINED SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST / SOLUTION-INTEGRATION ARCHITECT ROLE

Education & Certification Requirements
- Completion of post-secondary education in Business Administration, Commerce, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP) Certification, with a minimum of three (3) years' relevant experience and/or Information
- Systems Professional (ISP) designation with a minimum of three (3) years' relevant experience.
- Any additional applicable certification(s) not listed above but are significant to the Combined Senior Business Analyst / Solution-Integration Architect role.
Skills and Experience
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a Combined Senior Business Analyst and Solution-Integration Architect role. (Note: Relevant experience within the last seven (7) years)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to Develop and/or modify systems and applications that meet business requirements. Elicit and interpret business and technical information into functional and non-functional requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills with the ability to deal effectively with (a) others, (b) ambiguity, (c) conflict resolution, and (d) diplomacy.
- Ability to analyze and identify potential short/long-term risks that may cause technical issues and impede business operations in the future.
- Experience designing complex systems with multiple integrations.
- Expert at facilitating stakeholder sessions and client interviews; and presenting materials to all levels of the organization to gain alignment of project outcomes. Proven ability to assist the business in clearly articulating and defining the scope of a project.
- Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently while managing project and client expectations.
- Minimum of three (3) years of North American telecom experience preferred (Wireline, Wireless, Converged). (Note: Relevant experience within the last seven (7) years).
Responsibilities Will include, but not be limited to:
- Perform analysis of high-level requirements to create high-level solution designs for complex corporate projects.
- Perform system analysis and consulting for complex systems and integration. Develop AS-IS and TO-BE solution models and ensure business rules are defined and applied to the solution.
- Align team to corporate best practices, standards, templates, and implement business simplification, where applicable.
- Collaborate with business units to gather project estimates (labor, hardware, software, and ongoing support). Oversee implementation of corporate projects.
- Perform general project consulting throughout the SDLC (pre and post business case). Maintain current knowledge of technical advancements as they pertain to application development and support.
- Research new methodologies, standards, guidelines and tools and recommends changes.
- Facilitate the elicitation, analysis, validation of business, functional and/or non-functional requirements and document into requirements document.
- Critically evaluate information gathered to determine the true needs of the business to produce high and detailed level requirements.
- Perform task and workflow analysis to model current and future state of business systems and business processes.
- Perform traceability between solution designs and requirements.
- Liaison between Business Stakeholders; the technical solution providers; development, testing and support teams.
- Assist in creation of change requests with supporting analysis and alternatives.
- Ensure the correct interpretation of requirements with the development and test teams via design inspections, test scenarios, and data.
- Maintain skills and stay current with IT and/or Industry Trends.
