Role: Solution architect with Finance domain

Location: Toronto, ON (Onsite- 5 days)

Job Description:

• Architect Financial Solutions: Design end-to-end architecture for financial systems including core banking, risk management, trading platforms, and financial analytics.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business leaders, product managers, and technical teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Technology Leadership: Guide development teams on best practices in architecture, integration, and deployment.
• Compliance & Security: Ensure solutions meet financial regulations (e.g., SOX, Basel III, PCI-DSS) and internal security standards.
• Cloud & Integration: Lead cloud migration strategies (Azure, AWS, GCP) and integrate with third-party financial services (e.g., SWIFT, Bloomberg, Oracle Financials).
• Agile & DevOps: Support Agile Release Trains and CI/CD pipelines in a SAFe or similar agile framework.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in IT, with at least 3 years in a Solution Architect role.
• Strong understanding of financial systems, accounting principles, and regulatory frameworks.
• Proficiency in architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman) and modeling tools (e.g., ArchiMate, UML).
• Experience with technologies such as .NET, Java, Kafka, REST APIs, and microservices.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and data platforms (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake).
