Who we are looking for:
We are looking for a candidate who is driven, personable, and capable of wearing multiple hats to join our sales team at an important and exciting time for MCP. We are seeking an energetic, dedicated, detail-oriented, results-driven, dynamic Account Manager with experience at Loblaw. If you are a passionate salesperson, who thrives in a fast paced, deadline driven, fun environment and are a highly organized multi-tasker then this is the perfect opportunity for you!
Responsibilities:
Develop, monitor, and manage a retailer account portfolio.
Create, implement, execute, and track account annual business plans.
Responsible for managing all listings at accounts. Includes forecasting, pricing, promotional planning, and account paperwork.
Achieve annual budgets and sales targets. Manage, analyze & track trade spend.
Provide clear directions to marketing and sales support team on retailer specific needs.
Weekly in-depth pos analysis on base & promotional activity
Identify issues and opportunities in a timely manner.
Meet with retailers on a regular basis to review/track annual plans with detailed follow-up.
Attend and participate in weekly planning meetings.
Liaise comfortably and professionally with all organizational levels both internally and externally.

The Ideal Candidate will possess a positive attitude and have the following qualifications & competencies:
Minimum 3 years of account management experience calling on National Accounts
Post-secondary marketing/sales or business degree
Proven track record of managing national accounts.
Effective negotiation and analytical skills
Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
Exceptional leadership & interpersonal skills
Attention to detail, excellent project management & organizational skills.
Able to multi-task and problem solve in a fast-paced environment and manage a
diverse portfolio of products and tasks.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, Power Point. Advanced excel experience, Project Management tools considered an asset.
Proficiency in Priority Manager or One Note
