The Opportunity

As an Product Trainer, you'll play a vital role in shaping the client experience. You'll lead training sessions and actively contribute to improving onboarding outcomes, refining our internal processes, and maintaining long-term client engagement. You won't just deliver content-you'll develop it, track its impact, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure that every client gets real value from the platform.

This role is ideal for someone who is equal parts educator, communicator, process improver, and client advocate.

What You'll Do

  • Deliver client training via Microsoft Teams (and occasionally in person), guiding users through AP Wizard's ( apwizard.ai ) features in a way that aligns with their business workflows.
  • Develop, refine, and update training materials (e.g., slides, guides, job aids) to reflect evolving product features and client needs.
  • Participate early in onboarding, joining technical setup calls to understand client requirements and tailor the training accordingly.
  • Act as a long-term resource for clients, answering follow-up questions and ensuring continued value realization post-training.
  • Track training-related questions and issues, categorize them (training vs. system), and escalate or route feedback through structured internal channels.
  • Collaborate closely with onboarding, support, and product teams to ensure alignment and continuous improvement.
  • Use internal product dashboards and client data insights to identify adoption risks, usage gaps, or support needs.
  • Help streamline internal processes by sharing feedback, proposing improvements, and contributing to team-wide onboarding playbooks.

What You Bring

  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
  • 2+ years of experience in client training, onboarding, or customer success-ideally in SaaS, ERP, or finance systems
  • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), or construction finance workflows
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt to different roles and skill levels
  • A process-oriented mindset with flexibility to adjust as needs evolve
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage timelines, track open issues, and follow up proactively
  • Comfort with remote delivery tools like Microsoft Teams
  • Willingness and ability to travel within North America occasionally for client visits or industry events

Bonus Points For

  • Experience with Vista by Viewpoint or other construction ERP platforms
  • Technical writing or instructional design experience
  • Familiarity with AI, OCR, or invoice automation tools
  • Comfort using internal dashboards, CRMs, or issue-tracking tools
