About the Role

Own and grow a personal pipeline-50 % self-sourced, 50 % inbound-closing fast (1-3 month) deals while becoming a familiar face across Toronto's tech events.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive New Revenue - Leverage your network of founders, VCs, accelerators, fractional CFOs, law & accounting firms to originate 50 % of your own opportunities; convert inbound demand for the rest.
• Hit & Raise Quota - Build a $5 M qualified pipeline and close $1.5 M+ new ARR in year 1.
• Show Up in the Ecosystem - Attend/host at least one Toronto startup event every week (or every other week) and track ROI.
• Master the Offer - Articulate clear ROI on SR&ED, grants, and stacked funding strategies; publish 2-3 LinkedIn insights per month to build thought-leadership.
• Run a Clean Desk - Own your pipeline end-to-end in HubSpot-prompt responses, meticulous notes, accurate forecasts, on-time follow-ups.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years hunting net-new business in consulting, tech, or professional services-quota $1 M.
• Documented success hitting/exceeding targets on 1-3 month sales cycles.
• Deep network in Canada's startup ecosystem (VCs, incubators, founder circles, fractional CFOs).
• Personable storyteller who's detail-oriented and lightning-fast on customer comms.
• Comfortable with weekly in-person networking; thrives on autonomy and accountability.
