Reports To: Senior Manager, Technology Operations and Support

Technology Support Team. Your primary role is to support Yum! restaurant employees via

telephone, email and online in response to technology incidents, service requests and how-to

inquiries from initial contact to final resolution.

This is a remote position working a flexible schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work a flexible schedule that includes days, evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet support and staffing needs
  • Provide efficient and courteous customer service via telephone, email or online
  • Work in a fast-paced environment to meet or exceed team and individual service targets
  • Collaborate with other support teams and/or partners to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues
  • Adhere to departmental processes and procedures
  • Provide process related training to users, as necessary
  • Contribute to improve the maturity of operating processes and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate will possess working knowledge and experience supporting a wide variety of hardware and software platforms, including POS servers and applications, cash registers, PINPADS, printers, POS peripherals, and mobile devices
  • Technical College or equivalent work experience
  • 1-2 years of experience providing Service Desk and/or Technical Support Services
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills, ability to take a problem and solve it in a quick and efficient manner
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Detail oriented with excellent follow-up skills
  • Ability to handle highly confidential information/materials
  • Ability to manage high stress, demanding situations in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive, flexible, and self-motivated attitude
  • Can work independently as a remote extension of a larger team
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time and multiple priorities
  • French language skills, both written and verbal is an asset
  • Restaurant, QSR and/or retail experience is an asset
