Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Business Controls Consultant to join a top Bank for a 6 month contract, hybrid 1 day per week in Toronto. Responsibilities include identifying risk exposures and control gaps, analyzing operational losses, root causes, and proposing recommendations to mitigate these risks. This role will lead incident reporting investigations and the Change Initiative Risk Assessment (CIRA) process, ensuring compliance with regulatory, legislative, and operational requirements.

Responsibilities:

Risk Assessment/Remediation

• Identify risk exposures and control gaps.
• Analyze and synthesize risk exposures, operational losses, root causes, and control gaps
• Lead the Incident Reporting investigation and CIRA process
• Oversee all requirements including Risk and Controls Self-Assessment, scenarios, deficiency management, key risk indicators, incident reporting, audit support, and

Regulatory Compliance Incident reporting

• Address emerging risks for PBB & CBWM
• Implement integrated control improvement solutions across all products and distribution channels

Control Testing:

• Upfront control Documentation

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in risk assessment, control testing, documentation and regulatory compliance
• Strong ability to analyze and synthesize risk exposures, operational losses, root causes, and control gaps
• Proven experience in leading incident reporting investigations and risk assessment processes
• Familiarity with Risk and Controls Self-Assessment (RCSA), deficiency management, key risk indicators, and regulatory compliance
