Insight Global is hiring a Risk and Controls Manager to join a leading financial institution in downtown Toronto:

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Principle Associate Risk & Controls Manager will be supporting all of Canada in risk. This individual will be expected to work within enterprise control standards (Canada's adherence to those standards) and identify gaps within the control suite. They will be involved in reporting & data insights, identifying opportunities to train or provide guidance to Canada as a whole, and partnering with second-line groups (compliance, operational risk management, credit risk management, model risk management, tech risk management).

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Experience with Risk Management and Governance Functions
• Holds a strong understanding of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line of defence
• Banking/Financial Institution experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience working with Canadian Regulators including OSFI, FCAC, SOX, etc.

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Controls testing experience
• Experience automating controls
