As a Supply Chain Analyst, you'll play a key role in smooth Material Flows by ensuring the right products are available at the right time in the right location both from a process input & availability for customer orders / delivery, while balancing costs and efficiency. In this role, you'll manage sales forecasts, coordinate production schedules, OTIF deliveries & Fill Rates, ensure timely procurement and capacity planning to keep everything on track. Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead demand forecasting and centralized production planning processes, via aligning sales & production, supply and Raw Material & Packaging procurement & inventory to fulfill Sales Order OTIF
- Ensure extraordinary coordination across departments (sales, operations, finance) to develop feasible and customer-focused plans, ensuring smooth flow from customer order to fulfillment
- Align supply and demand to support short- and long-term Production & inventory needs (Finished Goods & Raw Material).
- Ensure there is smooth flow of information to all relevant parties, and everyone is aligned to make the best decisions for the organization and Implement systems and processes that enhance visibility and responsiveness to customer needs.
- Collaborate & support daily activities with production, sales, procurement, warehousing and logistics to ensure seamless inventory flows
- Monitor daily, weekly and monthly production plans and inventory movements, to prioritize manufacturing orders, and meet delivery timelines
- Maintain optimal stock levels, avoiding excess inventories, write-offs and stockouts.
- Manage backorders and schedules to align business needs.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in material flow, storage, and inventory management & Assess financial impacts of supply chain activities.
- Work with the IT Team to develop and implement new tools to enhance the planning function, especially in the ERP by utilizing the scheduling software and our ERP system to track goods and manage logistics efficiently.
- Long Term Introduce scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to support agility and business continuity.
- Develop a 911 process to cater for urgent needs and ensure smooth flow of processes
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business, Logistics, Process Engineering or related field.
- 5 years of experience in Operations, Supply Chain or Material Planning in a processing or manufacturing environment in the Food, Beverage, Dairy industry or similar sectors.
- Proficient in ERP/MRP systems and strong process development & analytical skills.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel for Modelling
- Excellent communication & Interpersonal communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Ability to influence decisions & actions by developing relationships across multiple functions, especially production.
- Ability to foster collaboration and handle complex, cross-functional projects.
- Experience in change management, with the ability to lead teams through transitions.
- Capacity to handle stressful situations and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently under deadlines.
