Business Development Specialist -

Who we are?

Join the EV revolution. Westward Vehicles of Winnipeg MB, makes Electric Utility Vehicles for municipal and commercial fleets across North America. Located in St. Boniface, we are a busy, dynamic, growing company.

We are looking for an energetic, motivated individual to help us with a wide array of sales work to help bring the company to the next level.

A key focus will be working towards brand awareness and product education, especially with our dealer base. Engaging dealer representatives to make sure they are comfortable with our product and promoting our product. Finding new dealers is also key in territories that are currently under served.

Reviewing online leads on a daily basis and following them through our crm pipeline. Using leads to help engage dealer representatives.

We offer a competitive compensation which includes salary, personal health benefits, and performance bonuses. Open to salary conversation depending on experience and success in similar fields. An industrial account manager with success in a similar type industry would be a great asset.

What will you do?

Part Inside Sales

Assist with managing and growing existing distributor base. Call and email dealer reps. Engage the reps on a weekly basis in rotation.

-Follow up with existing customer base, are we performing well? Is any support needed?

-Follow up with and chase new customer leads

Find and develop new distributors

Continually develop our CRM pipeline

Part Outside Sales

Some US or Canadian travel will be required to engage our dealer base. Educate the dealer sales teams and also work a day with them as you promote our product in front of customers

Attend and help organized trade shows as needed

A little Marketing

Maintain, improve, and execute our marketing plan. Create market comparisons as needed. Understand our offering against others in the market place and effectively communicate those benefits.

-Review the market place and identify opportunities for growth

Follow up on leads interacting with our Email blasts to customers/dealers. Improve E blasts as needed.

Assist with direction of marketing content as needed

Knowledge & Skills

- Relationship builder.

Strong organizational skills

-Ability to clearly convey progress with ownership

Ability to work well independently and within a team

Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively

Familiarity with MS Office

-proficient with CRM's

-Familiarity with social platforms

Some mechanical knowledge is an asset

College degree an asset

-Experience in industrial sales and dealer development an asset
