This role is ideal for Inside Sales reps and SDR/BDRs who want to transition to Outside Sales in the near future!
Your tasks as a Junior Sales Representative:
- Co-manage assigned accounts with the Sales manager (House and Sales Manager accounts).
- Cold call the list of prospects developed with the Sales Manager for house accounts.
- Prospect quality contacts and accounts best aligned for using the companies' platform and create amazing first impressions with potential customers while building a pipeline for sales.
- Responds to customer concerns in a timely fashion, including follow-up with additional data and proposed solutions.
- Collaborate with the Sales Manager to identify the key objectives (strategy) for each sales call and desired outcome.
- Develop presentations, spreadsheets, and written communications for the Sales Manager for house and managed accounts as required.
- Conduct pre-meeting research and develop pre-call plans for all client meetings.
- Prepare quarterly and annual reviews for all co-managed accounts for the Sales Manager.
- Liaise with the design team for samples or special design requests.
- Submit all required paperwork for quote requests, review workflow for any holds, alerts or pending requests, submit orders and pick up samples.
- Update CRM daily and after each prospect or customer interaction.
- Develop a broad knowledge of products and services offered at the company and to each account.
- Learn all of the functions related to sales, design, processing, customer service, inventory, and plant operation.
The required qualifications for the Sales Representative position:
- College diploma (or equivalent) in business administration, communications, marketing or a related field.
- 1-2 years of Inside Sales, SDR, BDR experience or similar.
- An entrepreneurial spirit - hunger, self-motivated and strong work ethic
