High-Speed Analog Design Engineer
Are you passionate about pushing the boundaries of analog performance at GHz speeds? Do you thrive in solving complex circuit-level challenges for cutting-edge applications?
I am working with a really exciting semiconductor scale up who is growing their team of High-Speed Analog Design Engineers to drive the development of next-generation ICs and analog front-ends for high-bandwidth, low-latency systems. You'll work alongside an elite team of mixed-signal and RF designers, shaping the future of high-speed data transmission, communications, and compute technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Design and simulate high-speed analog blocks such as TIAs, CTLEs, LDOs, SerDes, PLLs, CDRs, and high-speed amplifiers in advanced CMOS/BiCMOS nodes.
- Own the schematic-to-layout flow and ensure silicon-proven designs through close collaboration with layout, verification, and test teams.
- Analyze signal integrity, jitter, and noise to optimize performance across process, voltage, and temperature corners.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (digital, packaging, system, software) to ensure holistic system integration.
- Contribute to IP reuse strategies and maintain comprehensive documentation.
Your skills:
- MSc/PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in analog/mixed-signal IC design with a focus on high-speed or RF systems.
- Strong proficiency in Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, and industry-standard modeling and simulation tools.
- Deep understanding of analog building blocks, layout parasitics, and high-frequency design principles.
- Solid grasp of lab measurement techniques (e.g., VNA, BERT, spectrum analyzers) and hands-on silicon bring-up experience.
- Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
What you'll get in return?
- Up to 20% on your current package.
- Bonus and generous stock options.
- Comprehensive health care and 401k match.
