The Opportunity

The Admissions Officer is a full-time, permanent position reporting to the Director of Admissions and offers the chance to help shape the future of KCS by guiding prospective families through a celebrity admissions experience. You'll work across both our Junior and Senior School campuses and play a key part in meeting and exceeding our enrollment goals. The role begins in July, 2025 and comes with a competitive compensation package.

Core Responsibilities

  • Manage the full admissions pipeline for students entering grades 6 to 12, from first inquiry to final handshake
  • Conduct personalized tours, host open houses, and facilitate interviews with students and families
  • Split your time between our Junior and Senior School campuses (good walking shoes encouraged)
  • Represent KCS at school fairs, events, and anywhere there's a chance to connect with future families
  • Coordinate and conduct assessments (we'll train you)
  • Collaborate with Admissions and Marketing to develop effective recruitment strategies
  • Review and evaluate applications with an eye for fit and potential
  • Support student retention and community-building initiatives
  • Champion the Student Ambassador Program, because the students tell our story best
  • Other duties as assigned to meet our enrollment targets

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field
  • Experience in admissions or enrollment (or strong people-focused experience from another field, sales training, hospitality, etc.)
  • A self-starter who brings energy, initiative, and positivity to their work
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Organized and detail-oriented, able to juggle multiple priorities
  • Strong computer literacy and a willingness to learn new systems (CRM)
  • Confidence in data collection, analysis, and presentation
  • Strategic thinker with sound judgment
  • Maintains the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality
  • Highly motivated, collaborative, and eager to contribute to team success
